- Grandma 'D'
- I'm a fifty something year old Mom/Grandma/Wife. My life consists of feeding our three legged dog Rex, my gopher slaying cat Ivy, my twelve (minus one that a dog killed)chickens, and my baby shark husband Rooster. I'm also a wood hauler, a housekeeper, and one hell of a cook if I do say so myself. I am also in the crafting season of my life and Pinterest is my second bible.

Well, I get a kick out of all the harrassment their kids give them, but I know 1st hand how much their Daddy and Mama are loved by their kids and grandkids...they have lots of fun together and try to out-do oneanother! Russ is a great husband, father, grandpa, and son!

By the way what grandpa will harness up like a horse, and pull all his grandkids in the big wagon or on the sled ... Boy! and Howdy!..that says alot! Sure glad you got a 4 wheeler now though, or you would be an old man to soon! (hehe)

Hey Deann,
I was just going to send you this through facebook but then I found out that you weren't my friend:( So here you go....
Strawberry Romaine Salad
1 head romaine lettuce
2 bunches fresh spinach
1 pint fresh strawberries
1 bermuda onion
1/2 cup mayo
2 TBSP white wine vinegar
1/3 cup white sugar
1/4 cup milk
2 TBSP poppy seeds
*Optional toasted almonds
In a large bowl combine the romaine, spinach, strawberries,and onion.
In a jar with a tight fitting lid combine the mayo, vinegar, sugar, milk and poppy seeds. Shake well and pour over salad. Toss until evenly coated.
