Awesome week

Well, I have had a much better week and no swear words to speak of. It has been very busy and uplifting. And Wow, was General Conference fantastic or what. Just what the Doctor ordered for out of control DeAnn! On a serious note, I don't think there was a speaker I didn't learn something from. I'm so grateful to have a living prophet to remind me who I am and what I stand for. I realize I am not the greatest example to my children and grandchildren. But I am determined to do better. That is the beauty of the Gospel.
It was really weird not to have Gordon B. Hickley presiding, but what a special spirit President Monson brought to all of the meeings.
Also this week, buncos was a blast. Just a great big thanks to all of you young chicks for letting this old bird be in your group. It is the highlight of each month for me. I look forward to spending time with all of you, Even Crystal and Lynette. (you could be a little nicer to me).

Russell went to work in Provo and I drove up and stayed with him. We had a lot of fun. We drove over the mountain to Price to see Russell Jr., Stephanee and the kids, and Melissa, Brian and Neeley. We went to the Dinosaur museum. It was a lot of fun. Pictures will follow at a later date. It was also Russell Jr's. Birthday Sunday. How time fly's when your having fun. We came home Saturday night. After conference Sunday, Rodney and his kids called us to go play softball in town. So the Schofields, and Whittakers and Grandma and Grandpa Holm went in. Another fun day.
Today I went visiting teaching with Sister Florence and was once again spiritually fed. Sometimes we take for granted how blessed we are when we see someone who is struggling with lifes afflictions. She is one tough lady and she has taught me the true meaning of courage and faith.
Yea, her problems make my soot mess seem so insigificant. So when you think things can't get any worse take a look around. You will be surprised how quickly your blessings add up and just how wonderful your life really is.!!
And Crystal is not out of the woods yet. I WILL PREVAIL!!!!

Yay! New post! And we should be thanking you for being in our bunco group. You are the LIFE OF THE PARTY! Can't wait to watch Idol this week!

Listen mamasita! You are always doing way more embarrassing things than me so watch it. Anything you can do, I can do better! (except you do make egg noodles better, big deal though)
