The End of Idol!!

Well, that was that! Little David A. lost out to David Cook, who I must admit I was really getting to like . He was so cute with David A. Kinda like a big bro. The finale was great and a lot of awesome entertainment. Anyway, we all know little David will go far. I know I can't wait to buy his first CD. So girls, you won't have to hear me ramble anymore about AI. I hope I can get on with my life now. It's pretty sad when that is the highlight of your week. Anyway, summer is here, isn't it? So I am going to plant flowers, put up the pool and hopefully get back on my diet.....I need to lose my winter coat. I am a little fatty!

Crystal is getting ready to leave, and I don't think I want her too. I will really miss her and little Kendra. So Lynette, get ready for me to bug you ..............A LOT! I am so blessed to have such an awesome family...and great friends. Luv you all!

The End of Idol!!

Whoohooooooo!

Yea! Little David made it into the finale next week. American Idol was awesome tonight. Loved the whole show. I loved the way they all cried at their homecoming. I felt bad for Syesha but you know she has an awesome future ahead of her. I am going to be a little sad that it will all be over next week. As I was watching the show, one of my daughters (Melissa) called me twice. I mean hello, I'm watching American Idol. Don't bug mom during Idol. Then she texted Crystal to tell her who got voted off. She cheated and looked on the internet. She told Crystal to tell me David A. got voted off. Seriously, how mean can you get? Anyway, can't wait for next week.

More American Idol*

Did any of you out there watch Idol this week. Poor Jason. I mean I have never seen such a pathetic soul perform like that. And what's more I think he did it on purpose. Did you see him mouth the words "Don't Vote"? I hate those songs he sang anyway, but now I hate them even more. I think he was smokin pot or something because he just wasn't in the game.
Anyway, on a lighter note, little David Archangel did great. I know he sings all those sappy songs, but why mess with a good thing? And David C. did great too. It is going to be fun to see how things turn out. Syesha was all right. But I felt a little bad for her when she said she couldn't wait to meet her fans. And when she compared her experiences on Idol with the civil rights movement. Ya, their so comparable, NOT! Oh well, until next week............Go David A.

What another blog?

Busy week, what can I say? Russell and I had our 31st anniverary Wednesday the 30th. He was at work so we pretty much did nothing but talk on the phone that day.

Also, Nils came home long enough to pack up a few belongings and head on his way to Jackson Hole Wyoming. I cried, and everytime I think of my baby leaving I cry some more. He always comes home.

And then to top it off Crystal and Nick will be leaving me and taking my baby Kendra with them. How dare they! I am so sad. Now all my kids have and are moving far away. Do you think they are trying to tell us something? I don't know when we will get to see them all again with the price of gASS (so appropriate) being almost $4 a gallon. Who would have thought? So, now we really will be empty nesters. But on the upside of things all is going well for all of our children and isn't that what really matters?

Milford Menopause?

Are we ever going to get some consistent weather? I don't know if I am having hot flashes, cold flashes or if it's the stupid weather. One day I get up and I have to wear sweater, jacket etc... and the next day it's 80 degrees and I am ready for sandals and capris........It is May 1 and we have a fire in the stove to keep the house warm. Aren't we supposed to be planting flowers or gardens or something. The only way I can tell if it's menopause or not is by the wind. I mean who has windy hot flashes? Or windy cold sweats for that matter. Anyway I am ready for summer big time. The kids got me a pool for Mothers Day a couple of years ago. I am really looking forward to putting it up. Cooling off under the hot sun and having my pool boy wait on me. (That would be Russell, my choices are limited out here on the flat).

SURPRISE!!!!

Today I was reminded about 5 times to blog. I'm a busy woman you know. I mean with cleaning my house, watching Idol, doing laundry, watching Idol, cooking when Crystal doesn't, watching Idol, and playing with Kendra while I am watching American Idol. What do you want from me. I'm only one person you know. So here it is. My monthly bloggin session. By the way how about that American Idol?
It's almost midnight and I am sitting in the dark trying to come up with something quirky and interesting. So here goes.
I had a blast at Buncos as usual. You girls are a riot. I don't think I laugh that hard all month. Although your a little naughty. I mean you guys talk about the S.. word a LOT. Not all of you though. Mainly the ones that are related to me, and Natalie. And Lindsay put one heck of a Cinco De Mayo feast out there. Great food and fun. Muchas Gracias. Who even needs to win a prize? Who am I kidding, I do!. But tonight I was a big loser. Oh well, better luck next time.
